Kara Grant 

Kara has been in the property industry for over 15 years, specialising in strata management for more than 13 of those. Kara's extensive experience includes:
 

• the management of a broad-range of strata schemes across WA comprising residential, commercial, mixed use, strata-titles resorts and hotels, and new developments, including some of WA’s largest strata schemes;

• management, leadership and training of strata management teams at various firms;

• management of all aspects of strata management business operations;

• management of the peak industry body for the strata sector in WA, Strata Community Association WA (SCA WA) where, in her role as the General Manager, she worked closely on reforms to the Strata Titles Act and introduction of the Community Titles Act, the implementation of the Strata Management Practice Standard and the development of industry education programs.

 
Kara was also a member of Consumer Protection's Property Industry Advisory Committee during her time at SCA WA.

Kara's desire to raise the standard in Strata Management and provide a truly industry leading service, lead her to establish Strata Life WA in 2019 which experienced enormous growth over its 3 years of operation (prior to its merger to become Emerson Raine) due to referrals and word of mouth.

Kara has owned strata property over several years and has gained first-hand experience as an owner, investor, resident, council of owners' member, Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer. This experience gives Kara a unique insight into the challenges faced by her clients and a genuine desire to make strata ownership as easy as possible for them.

Kara has a Diploma in Management and has undertaken years of strata-specific education and professional development.
 
In her spare time, Kara enjoys walks with dog, pottering at home and time with family and friends.
